ABOUT THE DJD DANCE CENTRE
The DJD Dance Centre is a spectacular space with floor to ceiling windows in its studios, an intimate black box theatre, and a multi-purpose community living room space. This is a dance hub where highly trained professional jazz dancers train and perform, where people of all ages and from all walks of life take a multitude of dance classes, where other arts groups rehearse and present their work, and where audience members gather for performances and social events. The centre has been designed to inspire creativity for the users within and to be a source of creative energy for the district.
SPACES FOR RENT
Theatre & Community Living Room
DJD’s studio theatre is a fully-equipped, black box space with retractable seating, suitable for performances, filming, lectures, and other charitable and corporate events. The Community Living Room is a 2500 square foot multi-purpose space on the main floor of the DJD Dance Centre. It’s a versatile community hub that can accommodate 200 people for a variety of events such as meetings, presentations, readings, and stand up corporate or charitable receptions.

Studio
The seven spacious, professionally-equipped DJD Dance Centre studios are available for short- and long-term rentals. Our studios are ideal for rehearsals, auditions, and workshops. Please note: we give priority to professional dance artists and choreographers who are creating and rehearsing works.
