< 1 min read | January 23, 2024

Olio Costume Designer Hannah Fisher is a Prairie designer, visual storyteller and creator whose work spans performance mediums like dance, circus, drag and theatre. Heavily influenced by nature, memoir writing, the idea of smallness, “street” and the residual grit of body and memory, her work explores the sensibilities between colour, texture and form. Hannah’s artistic voice grew from a background of visual art at Emily Carr University of Art and Design (2016) and the National Theatre School of Canada (2019) Costume and Set Design program. She works as a freelance artist in both English and French, including on her own creation pieces.

From designs on a page to the bodies of our dancers, Hannah shares how the looks came together for each of our choreographer’s pieces.
