STUDIO SPACES
The seven spacious, professionally-equipped DJD Dance Centre studios are available to rent for rehearsals, auditions, and workshops.
Please note:
- We give priority to professional dance artists and choreographers who are creating and rehearsing works.
- We do not rent our studios for photo or video shoots
- We do not have any studio availability Monday-Thursday after 5:00pm or Saturday before 12:00pm

*NOTE: Only Studio 6 is appropriate for dance forms that use hard-soled & pointe shoes (tap, flamenco, salsa, etc). Studio 6 is also suitable for dance done with bare feet. Street shoes, especially high heels and shoes with white rubber soles, are prohibited in Studios 1 through 5. Renters are responsible for any damage to the floor due to use of prohibited shoes.

Hours of Operation
- September-June (M-F: 9am-9:30pm, Sat: 9am-4:30pm, Sun: 10am-7:30pm)
- July & August (M-F: 9am-9:30pm, Sat & Sun: closed)
- Studio rental request should fall within DJD’s hours of operation
- Should a rental request fall outside of DJD’s hours of operation, staffing costs would be passed onto the renter.

Location
Parking at DJD
The DJD Dance Centre parkade offers FREE underground parking Monday to Friday after 5PM and on Saturdays and Sundays. The parkade is free to valid ticket holders and students. Please note a code is needed to enter the parkade. (you will receive a code for the parkade 24 hours before the performance you are attending or with your class purchase). You can access the DJD parkade off Centre Street (at the back of the Kahanoff Centre). Walk offs are not permitted, your car can only remain in the DJD parking lot while you are at the DJD Dance Centre.
Please note: There is a 6 foot maximum height restriction for our underground parking.
Additional parking
Two large paid-public parking lots are located at the South and East sides of the building. Two-hour meter street parking is available on Center Street SE, between 12 and 13 Avenue SE. Two disabled parking spaces are available on the south side of the building.
