DJD does not have a formal dress code other than no jeans or outdoor footwear. We do recommend the following:

Children

A T-shirt and sweatpants or shorts with light flexible runners is fine. Girls often wear a leotard, tights and ballet shoes.

Adult & Teens

West African and African Moves
A fitted T-shirt or leotard with a lapa/sarong and bare feet. Men can wear T-shirt and sweat pants or shorts.

Ballet
Leotard, tights or yoga pants and ballet slippers.

Breakin'
Comfortable, breathable clothes and clean indoor running shoes (no jeans please).

Capoiera
Fitted T-shirt or tank top with comfortable pants. Bare feet.

Caribbean
Comfortable clothes and bare feet.

Flamenco
Women wear a long, wide skirt with a leotard or fitted T-shirt/tank and shoes with a chunky heel. Men wear a T-shirt, comfortable pants and shoes with a small heel and flexible sole.

Funk/Hip Hop
Comfortable workout clothing with clean, indoor runners.

Jazz
A leotard or fitted T-shirt with shorts or yoga pants. Jazz shoes or a light, flexible indoor runner.

Modern
Same as jazz with bare feet.

Tap
Comfortable clothing with tap or hard soled shoes.
