The School of Decidedly Jazz is proud to be Calgary's largest recreational dance studio, offering over 70 classes each week to over 1,000 students, ages 2-82. We strive to provide top-notch instruction in a professional, warm and encouraging atmosphere. Our instructors are some of the country's best, and many of them have enjoyed careers on the stage with the professional Decidedly Jazz Danceworks Company.

Our Children's Program is designed to instill a love of dance and an appreciation for the art form. Classes stress creative work, rhythm training, imagination, physical confidence and expression, while encouraging accuracy and excellence through basic skill building and body awareness.

Our Adult and Teen Program provides dancers the opportunity to train in a variety of dance styles, with emphasis placed on the joy of movement and personal mastery of skills. Whether you participate because of personal fitness goals or a deep seeded passion for dance, you are sure to leave our studios with a skip in your step and groove in your heart.

Throughout the year, we offer numerous Workshops & Events that allow students to immerse themselves in a specific dance style or to experience a variety of new dance forms. These workshops are instructed by our own internationally acclaimed instructors as well as renowned guest artists. In the past students have enjoyed the expertise of greats such as Jeannie Hill, Bradley Rapier and Keith Terry.
