DJD's success reflects the enthusiasm and energy of its founders, staff, Board, volunteers and supporters. The focus of Board is to help meet the financial targets that enable DJD to fulfill its artistic and educational mandates. Nearly 60% of DJD's planned revenues come from fundraising, and DJD's Board takes very seriously the philosophy of achieving an annual balanced budget. Our current financial status is the envy of our peers in the arts community.

DJD’s Board of Directors plan and stage special fundraising events, inspire corporate donations and sponsorships, design individual donation campaigns, and help to steward exceptional corporate governance across the organization.

We welcome new Board members with the expertise, ingenuity and imagination to attract the resources needed to continue to propel DJD along its trailblazing path.
