Specifically created with young people in mind, Live and in Sync! is a fun-filled romp which takes the audience on a journey through the history of jazz dance. Utilizing a T.V. game show format, 7 performers including dancers in DJD's Pre-Professional Program trace the development of jazz from its African roots, through the 1920's, to the popular social dances of today. Join Herman (assisted by the ever-ready "jazz crew") as he attempts to win various game shows. With an audience participation element, the program features everything from classic era jazz to Hip Hop.

Technical Requirements: The show is fully self-contained. Access to the performance space is required one hour pre-show for load in and set up as well as one half hour post-show for strike and load out. We perform on the gymnasium floor and require an area of 35' wide X 30' deep.
