Bring DJD to your school and introduce your students to the spirit, life and history of jazz dance. Through a diverse series of dance classes, students will build self-confidence as movers, experience the compelling rhythms and movements of jazz’s African roots, learn to identify styles of jazz music and movement, discover fascinating facts about North America’s social history, and find out that today’s popular music and dance styles grew out of this amazing art form.
